Veterans Day November 11th

This is a day to honor our men and women who serve and protect us.
They go were we can not go.
They do what we can not do.
They live by words like
Honor
Duty
Loyalty
Courage
Valor
To their country
To their God
To their family
To their unit

Can we honor them today with our prayers

Dear Marines, Especially you who are in Fallujah, I pray that whether you turn to the right or the left that you hear the voice of the Holy Spirit behind you saying, telling you, this is the way, walk in it. And you go in the way that you are directed. This is my prayer for all of you. Go with all my love and prayers, nickyjo

Talking My heartfelt thanks!!!

To all the service men and women fighting in Fallujah, I just wanted to let you know that I'm very thankful for your dedication in protecting our country. May our Gracious Heavenly Father continue to bless and protect you.

Sincerely,
Bob Gaudio, Schaumburg, Illinois

P.S. I have a cousin who is a husband and a father who is home for a while from Iraq, but will be returning in about 5 months. His name is Richard Janis, and I'm not sure if he is a Christian, so please pray for his salvation as well as his safety. Thanks!!!!

Smile A prayer for all soldiers

Dear Abba Father,
You know what condition each soldier's heart is in, Lord, and how much they need you, no matter who they are. So please open their eyes that they might see you, know how much you love them and that YOU are the one fighting for them. I pray that they have humble spirits, full of godly love for the Iraqis, even those trying to kill them, and that they know that you have a perfect plan for their lives, which you are faithful to lead them in, even now. Help them love each other, to have unity among themselves, to be living, walking examples of Jesus' love here on earth. Please, Father, give them your perfect peace, which you have promised to all who love you and believe in you, so that they might be anxious for nothing, but in everything, with prayer and supplication, make their requests known unto you. Let your glory shine through in Iraq, that the whole world may marvel and know You alone are God! Praise be to your name, and to all whom you call your children. Bring them home one way or another, whether to their earthly home which lasts only a while longer, or if it please you to bring them home to yourself sooner, so be it. You are our Creator, loving heavenly Father, we can even call you Abba (Daddy). Thank you for loving us and sending your own Son to pay the price for our sins to set us free forever. Your word is truth and every good and perfect gift comes from you.

Marines turn to God...

Father in the name of Jesus we come to you and ask that You cover all of our troops, our Marines, our fighting men and women with the blood of Jesus from the tops of their heads to the bottoms of their feet. I pray that all soldiers, both saved and unsaved be covered and protected in the name of Jesus. I pray that no weapons formed against them will prosper, that greater in them is You than he who is in the world; I pray that from Your hand of protection which is long enough to reach down right now and touch these lives in a safe way that many will come to know You for Your lovel, Your mercy, Your righteousness, Your joy and Your love and grace.

Father heal our land! Protect our soldiers right now in their time of need. Bring our soildiers back safely! Let them live and not die and proclaim your works! I pray health, peace, abundance, and blessings on their families now in Jesus name!

Thank you Lord,
Amen!

Pastor Jerry:
Thanks so much for the information on the saved soldiers in Iraq. My continued prayer is that God continue to keep his Angels dispatched to surround and protect each and every one of the soldiers from all harm hurt and danger. I pray the blood of Jesus over all of them. It was so moving to see how God is moving and protecting them while they do battle. It brought tears to my eyes. I also have a son in Iraq and I printed that page to forward to him.

God is working in miraculous ways. I cannot thank him enough and I surely thank you for sharing. If we continue to pray, it's no tellling what the Lord has in store for us all.

Hallelujah!!! Thank you God.............

Father, I stand before You today with a broken heart full of pain and tears and I ask You to avenge my pain by showing the world Your hand over Fallujah and Mosul full of Mercy, Grace and Salvation for those who turn their hearts to You! Holy Spirit! prepare the hearts of those who live and fight in Fallujah and Mosul today to hear the Word of Salvation through Jesus! Turn the hearts of the people and the heart of these towns to Jesus! Protect the Troops who are fighting for the freedom of the town, guide them, nurture them, turn them to Your voice amid the chaos of war and cause them to listen to Your plan for their lives! Expose the terrorists and bring them to repentance and capture. In the Name of Jesus! I plead the Blood of the Lamb over the cities of Fallujah and Mosul for the taking of the cities by the storm of the Holy Spirit. AMEN!

Praying For All of You

Father, I thank you for all of our troops that are in Iraq and other parts of the world. I asked you to show yourself strong on behalf of each one and let them know that they are not alone. You said in your word that you would never leave us. Give each and everyone strength to stand when their bodies are tired. Let each one sense Your Presence guiding them. I ask for your protection , that your warring angels would compass them about. We thank you for the battle is not ours but your's! To You be all the glory & praise! Bring each and everyone home safely and let the time seem short for those waiting to go home. Bless their homes and families!
Yours in Christ,
Debbie

Jesus continue to knock down and smash all attacks of the enemy towards are troops in fallujah and in all of Iraq. Begin to release a new fresh wave of 700,000 shekinah glory bombs in the heavenlies in and over Iraq and especially in fallujah to uproot and destroy all evil principalities there.

Lord God, continue to make the way straight for our Military. Lord, we ask for mighty miracles in Fallujah, and wherever there are battles raging. Father, keep your angels around each of these who serve, and give them your peace. Lord, let them be strong and of Good courage. We praise you Lord for the miracles that are taking place here, We praise you in the midst and darkness of the battle, for where Praise is, your God-life sends the enemy fleeing. Lord, we resist satan in the name of Jesus, and he must flee! We claim your Word as truth, because it is truth.
Father Bless the Military, and Bless your children. Father, we pray that this battle will soon be over, and Iraq will be free. Send your Word forth in this land, and Send your Spirit racing through the land like a prairie fire, lord, it burns hot and sweeps across the landscape, and if there is the wind of your Spirit moving it will encompass Iraq and the entire Middle East. Father, have mercy on these people who have been so abused and lied to for so very many years. Set them Free Lord, Send your Spirit, for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.
Father, I ask it in the Name of Jesus! AMEN

Marine LCpl James Miller better known as the MARLBORO MARINE Please Pray

Please Pray for this young man.
By the way did anyone notice the difference between the two photo's

Marine Lance Cpl. James Miller

An eastern Kentucky Marine whose battle-grimed face has quickly become a symbol of the fighting in the Iraqi city of Fallujah says he doesn't understand what all the fuss is about.

But his mother is thrilled. Maxie Webber, of Robinson Creek in eastern Kentucky, said the close-up Picture of Lance Cpl. James Blake Miller let her know that her son was OK.

Webber said she first saw it Wednesday on CBS.

"I just sat here and I thought, that's my son," Webber said. "I couldn't believe it."

The photograph, taken by a Los Angeles Times photographer and transmitted by The Associated Press, has been printed in more than 100 newspapers and shown on network television.

Miller, 20, is shown with smudged camouflage paint and a bloody scratch on his nose, a cigarette drooping from the side of his mouth. He was exhausted and grimy after more than 12 hours of nonstop fighting.

Miller, a graduate of Shelby Valley High School, is serving with Charlie Company of the 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, scene of fierce battles over the past week.

He didn't know about the photo and his spreading fame until two Los Angeles Times staffers traveling with his unit told him about it.

"I was just smokin' a cigarette and someone takes my picture and it all blows up," Miller told them Friday.

The picture, which appeared in the Times on Wednesday, was taken on the afternoon after Charlie Company entered Fallujah under intense hostile fire.

Miller and his fellow platoon members had spent the day engaged in practically nonstop firefights, fending off snipers and attackers, and hadn't slept in more than 24 hours.

"It was kind of crazy out here at first," Miller says. "No one really knew what to expect. They told us about it all the time, but no one knows for sure until you get here."

He grew up in rural Jonancy, named after his great-great-great grandparents Joe and Nancy Miller, the first settlers in the area. His father, James Miller, is a mechanic and farmer, and the young Miller grew up working crops of potatoes, corn and green beans. His mother is a nurse.

His mother said she stays home as much as possible in case he calls.

"I don't want to miss his call because you never know if that call will be the last one," Webber said.

She said she bought an answering machine in case Miller, the oldest of her three sons, calls while she's out. She has one message on the machine from Aug. 1.

"And when I get lonely, and it's been a few days, I play that tape," Webber said.

Webber said her son's decision to join the Marines has changed the way she thinks about America.

"Until my son went into the Marines, I never really realized what that flag stood for - but now I do," she said.
