MARGARET Hassan’s mutilated body is thought to have been found in Iraq, it was reported last night.

A corpse with the hands and legs cut off was dumped on a street in Fallujah.

Officials were said to be 85 per cent sure the body is that of the British charity worker.

The dead woman’s height and age match Margaret’s.

And she had been shot in the head.

Margaret, 59, was shot in the head on Tuesday by terrorists who sent a video of the killing to Al Jazeera TV.

Her distraught husband Tahseen has been told of the find.

The Foreign Office would not comment.

The Muslim Council of Great Britain has called her execution “inhumane” and demanded the killers be brought to justice.

More than 1,000 attended a service yesterday in Margaret’s home town, Kenmare, Co Kerry.

Her family said in a statement their “hearts are broken”. Tony Blair led tributes to the care worker in the Commons.

The mum of Ken Bigley, the first British hostage executed in Iraq, condemned her killers.

Lil Bigley, 86, of Liverpool, said: “I feel desperately sorry for Margaret and her family.”

Jesus, I mourn the loss of this Christian worker. I pray for her family and for other Christan workers. Keep them safe from harm. I pray against the senseless loss of life. I come against the demonic forses and principlaities over this land. I war over the heavenlies against the evil

Father, in Jesus' Name send angels to this family who surrendered their loved one to the service of charity for a people in need. We ask You to comfort them in their time of grief and mourning and give them Your Divine Presence through the holdays. Keep their family safe from further harm.

Father, I stand here before You and ask that You avenge the brutal treatment, death and mutilation of Margaret by bringing her killers to Jesus for Salvation! Bring so many more Iraqi's to Jesus that the muslims are out numbered! In the Name of Jesus! AMEN!

Vengence is Yours, Lord. Set this things right, as the blood of the righteous cry out for. We pray for these terrorists to be brought to jusitce or salvation, whichever is most effective in stopping their henious deeds!

Father God, comfort this family! Let Your peace cover them. Uphold them and strengthen them in the days to come. Let them be a testimony to the world of what God can do in tragic situations like the one they face.
