Dear Pastor Jerry:

We know you have one of the largest prayer sites in the World. There are so many who are still missing during this time. We were wondering if you would ask your people to join us in prayer and ask for a Miracle. We are hoping to find many more people alive during this time of suffering. Here is an article that was printed in the China daily about my request.

Indonesia's ambassador to China said his people have not lost hope of finding additional survivors from the devastating tsunami that struck the Indian Ocean region more than a week ago.

"We are praying for miracles," Aa Kustia said. "However, with the resumption of communication, the number of missing and dead is still expected to rise."

He said the number of dead in Indonesia now stands at 94,081, while some 3,000 others remain unaccounted for. More than 515,000 people have been made homeless.

Like other nations,Indonesian officials are now worried about the possibility of epidemic outbreaks.

"Medical help is desperately needed for fear a breakout of disease among the homeless may occur," the ambassador said.

The Indonesian Government is working swiftly to bury hundreds of thousands of decomposing bodies, with experts warning they could trigger disease.

"A lot of disinfection work has been done and people are busy smoking out mosquitoes," he said.

Responding to reports of incidents of robbery targeting Chinese Indonesians, the ambassador said his government would mount a massive security operation to maintain social stability.

He said no big cases have been reported and those committing such crimes did so because of hunger.

Embassy staff in Beijing, except for one, found reasons to be thankful in the wake of the disaster since most did not lose relatives in the chaos.

One staffer's nephew perished, however.

Many of the 1,000 Indonesians living in China, 80 per cent of whom are students, have been worrying about their homeland.

"We called the student leaders at universities in Beijing soon after the disaster," said Hutagalung, counsellor of information, social and cultural affairs, "and received no report of heavy losses."

"It is possible that they may simply don't want to tell us," he said.

More than 200 Indonesians were gathered at the embassy on Friday to mourn the victims.

He said the embassy calls back to Jakarta every hour to closely follow up on latest developments.

The Chinese people have shown great concern to the disaster victims, and for Chinese living there.

"We help the Chinese citizens to get in touch with their loved ones in Indonesia and we tell the Chinese Government what kind of aid is urgently needed in Indonesia," he said.

"The visa procedure has been simplified for Chinese people, including journalists who want to cover the disaster and those volunteers," he said.

There is a cash donation box at the entrance of the embassy and he said the donations from the Chinese public have now reached 110,000 yuan (US$13,300)

He said the ruined roads and bad communications were preventing the distribution of aid supplies from several major cities to affected areas.

Father, we ask for Your manifest Presence with the Indonesian people. Lead them to their still living loved ones, or bring the loved ones in for Your glory. Let there be many, many more people found alive and well.

We pray that disease will be kept away from the people by Your Spirit, Lord, and we come against any words that are contrary to Your's over these people.

Let Indonesia have all the medical supplies it needs and show Yourself to each one of the people living in this country. We ask You to help them shake off anything that they put ahead of You in worship, just like You are teaching us, so that Your healing power can go forth.

Trust God.

Father, send the angel legions to show the searchers where to look for those who remain alive in the rubble of the tsunami. Minister to the sick and injured of body and comfort the sick and injured of mind and spirit. Lord, so many hurting people! Cover them in the Blood of Jesus and forgive their sin so that You can hear their cry and answer them! Move with those who are helping in the danger zone and supply the needs for water and food to those who truly need it. Keep the hands of evil off of the supplies coming in, do not allow corruption to set in over the supplies. Lord the orphans are desperately in need of families to love them. The desolate need the hand of the Lord ot comfort them and raise their heads once more. Bring the survivors to Jesus for Salvation. Send Laborers into the fields to spread Your love to the hurt and sorrowing. In the Name of Jesus! AMEN!

Dear Father in Heaven, I join all those in prayer praying for miracles in the land of Indonesia and those other countries and lands that have been touched so tremendously by this terrible disaster. I pray that Thy power and Thy spirit might work many mighty miracles in the hearts and lives of these people. I pray that many hearts and minds will turn to Thee with a full purpose of heart and come to be converted to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ which is going forth on the earth. I pray that it might spread and many souls will have the opportunity to hear and receive a newness of spirit and give them hope and courage in the knowledge of who they are and why they are here on earth. Let the gospel spread in these lands. I also ask for a great healing over the hearts that have been broken and that they will again be able to heal and find purpose and meaning in their lives and be able to have the will to carry on and rebuild their lives. Not the same as before but new through the power and strength of Thy Beloved Son. Lead the efforts in the great search efforts that are going forth over the land that any missing persons may be found and have their lives spared according to Thy purposes. Let Thy arm be revealed in these people's lives and I ask for a mighty miracle to be poured out upon the people. I pray that many will be brought to their knees in these lands and throughout the world and be moved upon by Thy Holy Spirit to give of their means to help those who stand in such great need. We see so many having their hearts touched already and pray that this may continue in full force and that as time goes by, the effort will not let up until these countries and lives have been rebuilt. Give them the heart, the mind, the will to fight to recover their lives. Let neighbors help neighbors and have their hearts full of desires to do good to one another and touch many hearts that they will desire to go there and give of their time and efforts to help the people. All that this nation of Indonesia and the other nations in this area of the world stand in need of at this time, I ask in Jesus Holy Name Amen.

Lord, we cry out for miracles!

Help them, strengthen them and empower them.

Thank you, Lord, for your mighty power that is available to us.

Dear Lord, I pray that many are found and that many are SAVED of those found. Draw them to You, Father, by Your Holy Spirit, through Your Son.

I pray that disease does not spread. I pray You stop that from happening.

Remind all the survivors of the shortness of life, and let them look for the reason they are alive, and let them find that You are that reason.

Turn all these events and work in all these events for Your Glory.
