President Bill Clinton is in the Hospital again for surgery. Who will stand with us in prayer for President Bill Clinton this is the second time he has been in the hospital in the past few months. Hillary has asked us to pray for him.

Statement from the Office of President Bill Clinton

New York - Doctors at Columbia Presbyterian say Former President Clinton will undergo surgery to remove fluid and scar tissue from his heart.

The procedure, which is a recognized, occasional consequence of open-heart surgery, will take place Thursday at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and he will remain in the hospital for three to ten days.

The procedure is known as a decortication, and will require general anesthesia. The scar tissue developed as a result of fluid and inflammation causing compression and collapse of the lower lobe of the left lung. The surgery will be done either through a small incision or with a video-assisted thoracoscope inserted between ribs. The fluid buildup and lung collapse has caused the President some discomfort in recent weeks, but he has otherwise been in very good condition, recently passed a stress test and is walking up to four miles a day near his home in Chappaqua, NY.

The risk of the procedure is low, and once fully recovered, President Clinton is expected to resume his work without limitations.

The former president will check into a New York medical center this week. His office says the risk of the procedure is low, but Clinton will remain in the hospital three to ten days afterward.

Clinton has been quite active since the heart operation last September. He hosted last fall's opening of his presidential library in Little Rock, Arkansas. Most recently, he's been traveling as part of a campaign to help raise private funds for the victims of the south Asia tsunami.

Dear Lord, this was a duplicate post, so I will pray what You are leading me to now. I pray that You will hem former President Clinton in by angels and by prayers. I pray that he is drawn home to You at this time, or if he has already found You, he is drawn to his ministry that You have called him to. Call plainly to him at this time. Let his heart be open to Your words. Let deep call to deep. Let him respond to that cry of his spirit to know his Heavenly Father. Do an awesome, life-changing work in his life at this time. Draw him to You, by the conviction of Your Holy Spirit, through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling.... calling, oh, sinner, come home! I pray God that you guide the surgeons' hand during Bill Clinton's surgery. God you are merciful. We trust in you completely to heal Bill completely in Jesus' name we ask this. God please give the whole family strength and courage during this time.

I stand in agreement with my siblings for the healing and life changing touch of the Holy Spirit on the whole Clinton family. We pray for not only healing at this hour but salvation and strength. Use the Clintons for the glory of God I pray in Jesus name.
