Did someone read the dream on here about the restrainer being removed when Pope John Paul II died? Well, it was prophesied by Bishop from Ireland (a Catholic) some years ago that the 112th Pope would turn from conservatism.... that would be the NEXT Pope. Benedict is the 111th.... The prophesy said (well, it was actually a vision) that the 112th Pope would take the name Peter.... a name no Pope has ever dared take, because, Peter, the apostle, whom they consider the first Pope, is held in too much reverence.... SO: It is very important to pray for Benedict the XVI!!! I heard this on "Jack VanImpre Presents...." tonight. He is the man who discusses prophesy in light of the news. Now, he is not a Catholic hater; he really liked Pope John Paul II. His point is: Could this next Pope be the anti-Christ? You see, the liberals in the church will like him, and think he's all of that, because he turns against the pro-life stance and the anti-homosexual stance and so on.... the things the liberal Catholics want. So, Bendedict could be the only thing between the church and the anti-Christ. This just seemed too important not to share.

Lord, I am humbled by the last words of Benedict XVI's homoly. Would that we all were so passionate aobut You! Wow! Lord, I pray he will not say that the Catholic church is the one true church, which is something I heard he had said. Let him embrace his brothers and sister's in other churches. Let us all come into the unity of the faith! I pray that the fire of the Holy Ghost will burn through him and through the Cahtolic church and through ALL churches, as my church needs a BIG dose of that, too. I pray that we may be united in ONE Spirit.... The Holy Spirit. So many saying The Spirit is but a force or a power, not a BEING, but the Catholic church has NEVER said that. Lord, bring the TRUTH of The Holy Spirit -- in ALL His power and glory -- to the attention of every believer! Lord, let this Pope's strong stand for what's right be an example to the entire world. I wish they would say priests can marry, as this IS Biblical. And, perhaps, this 111th Pope can see the truth on that and can preach that STRAIGHT FROM YOUR WORD. I pray Your greatest blessings upon him, and may he be used to show Your glory to the entire world. In Jesus Name, amen.

Oh Father, bless this Pope with your Strength. Father, hold him in the palm of your hand. Anoint him to preach the gospel and call all to you. We learn now that this Pope is the one who wrote most of Pope John Pauls sermons and wrote the new catechism. Lord, he was the Holy Spirit filled friend and helper of Pope John Paul. Lord, I ask that you will call millions to your throne quickly. Father, time is short. This World needs you! Father, let people go and share the Love of Jesus with people throughout the world and let us all bow down before you, as one and only one(also called catholic..no caps) universal church. Lord, let your children love you and love one another! Father, give this Pope long life and let your Spirit of Joy flow to those who are broken hearted. Lord, lead all people to Christ! In the Name of Jesus we ask. AMEN and AMEN

Father, I pray Your protection on this Pope. I pray Your favor upon Benedict XVI. Lead him to preach ALL TRUTH, and lead many home so Your Son, Jesus Christ for salvation, through the conviciton of the Holy Spirit. Use this man to help unify the churches/denominations. Let him embrace ALL believers in Jesus Christ and reject none. Let us come into the unity of the faith. Keep him alive and strong, perchance this propehsy about the anti-Christ is so. Give him many successful years. In Jesus Name, amen.

Lord, give us all a passion for You like this Pope has expressed. Let Benedcit XVI truly grow closer to Christ each day. I pray his life is a bright and shining light and example for You. Lord, let Your will be done in his life. Let him preach only what YOU tell him to preach. Let him reject any teachings that are not Biblical. Let him embrace ONLY The Word of God in what he says. Father, let him preach the truth that says the leadership should be the husband of one wife, not so they can have more priests, but simply because it is YOUR truth. Let him reach out to ALL believers in Christ and not hold to the belief that the Catholic church is the "one true church." The BODY of Christ -- anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins -- is the one true church. We all members of the same body. I pray this is what he will say. Bring us into the unity of the fatih. Let him embrace all who are not of the spirit of anti-Christ, all of us who say Jesus IS the Son of God, indeed Jesus IS God. Lord, let him have a legacy that he did not exclude anyone who believed in Jesus Christ. Lord, let him truly come into the King's chamber, and there let him be taught all truth by The Still Small Voice, The Holy Spirit speaking in his spirit. I pray and ask, in Your Name, amen.

Father, give this Pope a loyal and righteous assistant and Cardinals to assist him in his work. Lord, we ask that you will move mightely in this world. In the Name of Jesus I ask. AMEN
