Lord God, I have been praying that You will line up a Godly man (woman?) to be the next President of the United States of America. I come to pray that today. Father, Kim Clement prophesied it would be a man who prays. I come in agreement with his prophecy for that to be so. Bring us a man who loves the Lord his God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength and his neighbor as himself. Bring us a man who prays. Bring us a man who is prophetic. Lord, I pray for a President who is ON FIRE for God. Send us someone FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. I pray he is a man who knows Your glory, has been in The Anointing. Find a man who is full of the fruits of the Spirit -- love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, temperance, meekness. Send us someone who will pray for revival in America and who lead that revival in America. Lord, let the righteous rule in America so that we may rejoice! I declare it done! In Jesus Name, amen.

Amen, JeriRose. I am agreeing with you in prayer for the next President, that the LORD would raise up a leader after his own heart for such a time as this. here is a dream I had about America:


A DREAM OF A NEW PRAYER FOR AMERICA

I dreamed this early this morning, 25 May 05. In the first dream I was talking to four American veterans of the Iraqi conflict. I was telling them I was a combat wounded veteran and I had spent two years in Iraq fighting for a great cause. These men were listening intently to me and believing everything I was telling them. I then gathered all four around me, looked them in the eyes, and told them the truth. I said I had fabricated my whole story, and the reasons for the war had been falsified. I saw the wounded look of betrayal in their eyes and on their faces. I then told them the purpose for my false story. I said,"You see, leaders in high places can tell you anything just to get you to follow them. Just like the blind leading the blind, both will fall in the ditch."

I then dreamed this dream. I had parked my red Ford Crew Cab truck in a parking lot by a large city park. I walked away and when I returned to my truck, a saw that a thief had stolen my left(driver's) door, both left wheels and tires, and my radio was hanging by a few wires. I looked up and saw several other people who also had their vehicles vandalized by a thief. I then saw the thief surrounded by some of his stolen goods, in a small grove of trees in a city park. Other people, including police, politicians, and religious leaders began to chase the thief. The thief was too strong for them and could not be caught. I then ran up to the thief and shouted, "Stop in the name of Jesus!" He dropped to the ground like he had been hit by a baseball bat. He lay there and began to burn. He then called out to me and said, "I want to be born again. Will you pray for me?" I went up to him and although he was glowing with coals like a great log burning, he could talk and hear me. I said, "Do you want Jesus to save you?" He replied, "Yes." All types of people, including politicians, religious leaders and ordinary American people were gathered around watching this scene. I prayed (it was a real intense prayer in my dream..agony of soul and brought tears to my eyes...my face was wet when I woke). This is the prayer, "Lord Jesus, you see the heart cry of this precious soul. Reveal your love unto him, O Lord. You have said forgive and it shall be forgiven you. There is no sin too great for you to forgive. Too, O Lord, your love is so good and so great that even you can save at the last minute." Jesus then came and saved this thief's soul and he gave up the ghost. I looked around and there was a look of awe on everyone's faces. Someone stated, "That was the most beautiful prayer ever prayed. It is a new prayer for America!" There was not a dry eye in the crowd...everyone was humbled and touched by the precious presence of our Lord. I then woke up, and recorded these two dreams.

Dear Lord, move in mighty power in the situation of the next President. I read a list of all the hopefuls, but I do not believe any of them is the right person -- Your person. So we stand in agreement that that person shall be brought from obscurity or wherever they are. We pray that You will bring them to the fore and show them favor. Give them favor in the eyes of the people.

I pray, Father God, for a Spirit-filled, God loving man (or woman) who will lead this nation back to God. Let him be a man who says it is about the RELATIONSHIP (with You) not the religion. Lord, I pray that he will be the cause of many transformed hearts. For the lawas we pass will not change hearts. Hearts must be changed by You, before people will uphold righteousness and want righteous laws.

Lord, we pray for a mighty warrior of prayer to be placed in the Whitehouse. We ask for a man who walks and talks with You in a beautiful, intimate relationship. Lord, I pray that he has been in The Glory and The Anointing. I pray he understands the moving of The Holy Spirit. I pray he prays that into America. I pray he prays revival into America. I pray he is at the head of the prayer movemnt in America. I pray he is a five star general in Your praying army!!!

Nothing is too difficult for You! We declare it done, in Jesus Name, amen.

Heavenly Father, it is totally in your hands. We praise you for all you are doing in this land and in your people. Lord, call your warriors to pray. Father we claim righteousness and holiness for America. Lord, forgive this nation for the wrongs we have done, and redeem us for your Glory and your Kingdom.

Lord, I thank You for leading me to these posts. I agree with these other prayer warriors and ask for an anointed leader to fill the position and operate in it in accordance to Your will. We ask for Your Presence to be strong in the White House, Lord, and inside of all of the people occupying it, and especially the President and his First Lady. In Jesus' Name I pray....Amen.

Trust God.

Lord, they are beginning to campaign for the Presidential election that is upcoming. I saw Bill Clinton speaking in favor of Joe Liberman.

Well, Lord, I ask that You would bring YOUR MAN to the fore. Who is going to run that has the qualities YOU would want in a leader? I do not know of anyone. So, Lord, find a man after Your heart and bring him into favor.

I pray such a man will come to our attention soon. Lead Your people to pray for such a man to lead our nation. Lord, show us who this man is and let us pray for him to be elected. Give us the inside info as Your intercessors. Tell us how to pray and who to pray for. Of all the men out there, who is it YOU want in office? Perhpas an unknown, never heard of.... A man has come to mind. Give me wisdom; let me pray rightly. Do not let me pray for a man who is not supposed to be in this role. Lead me in prayer, Lord. Bring us a man who will truly serve You as he serves our nation.

I lift this nation to You to be blessed with another Godly President.

Father God, bring Your PERSON to the fore -- I did not mean to exclude women. I so feel this one man would be awesome, but does he even want such a position? Do YOU want him to lead our nation? Find the man or woman that is Your choice....and promote that person to the forefront and cover him with favor. Let Your choice be recognized and elected. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.

Father God, send us the right person to be the next President. I pray that You bring that person to the fore and the attention of the nation. I pray that You will give them favor. I pray they are elected into the position of President of the United States, that Your eternal purposes may be served through them. Lord God, allow us to have a man/woman at the helm, who loves You with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and loves their neighbor (fellow Americans) as themselves. I ask that we are sent that great and huge revival so long prophecied for America, and I pray the next president is at the heart of it. Father God, intervene in the current process of looking for and chosing candidates to run for President. Send us that person YOU want to get elected, and let us know and recongnize who YOUR choice is. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.

Lord Jesus, we do ask that you raise up the one you have ordained to be the next President. I pray we will recognize that one, and that all of your children would continously pray that a revival would come to America.

The Lord had me read about Gideon and David. I had previously wrote these two things about them.

Gideon Saves Israel From the Midianites

Judges 6 verse 12: "And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour."

Gideon was threshing wheat, hiding it from the Midianites when the angel of the LORD appeared unto him and gave him divine direction and a mission. Gideon asked the angel if the LORD be with us, then why is all of this happening to us (the Midianites had been their enemies for seven years)? Judges 6 verse 6 says "And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD." Crying unto the LORD involves earnest and heartfelt prayer. The LORD heard their prayers and sent a prophet who reminded them that the LORD had delivered them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of all that had oppressed them, yet they worshipped the gods of the Amorites instead of obeying the LORD's voice. Yes, the LORD was compassionate and still loved Israel despite their disobedience.

The LORD went on to tell Gideon that he would be the one to deliver Israel from the hands of the Midianites. The LORD told Gideon "have not I sent thee?" Please note that Israel was hemmed in and no man or woman was their leader or no man or woman could lead them to deliverance unless sent by God. Gideon heard these words and was flabbergasted! He said, "How can I save Israel? My family is poor and I am the least in my father's house." The LORD confirmed the call of Gideon, saying "Surely I will be with thee". Gideon was still doubtful and asked the LORD to show him a sign that it was God talking with him.

He still couldn't believe that the Lord would call him for this dangerous mission...why didn't the LORD call someone richer or better educated or someone with more prestige? I believe it is because God looks on the heart and man looks on the outer appearance. Calling Gideon for this job would be like having an ordinary middle class or poor American becoming President of the United States of America. Impossible with men but possible with God.

Gideon went on in the power of the LORD and fulfilled his divine call. He still was doubtful and asked the LORD to confirm his mission by putting out a fleece. The LORD honored Gideon's request and did so (Judges 6 verses 36-40). Gideon went on to defeat the Midianites in a miraculous way with a small number of men...because the LORD was with him. It is also interesting to note in the days of Gideon the country was in quietness (peace reigned). He went on to have many children and lived to an old age, yet after he died, the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God and went a whoring after Baalim.

Does the LORD God still call "Gideons" this day? I believe he still raises up His men and women in answers to prayers. God still is in control of the affairs of the world and He promotes whosever He will.

Psalm 75 verses 6, 7 "For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another."


1 Chronicles 12 verse 22. "For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God."

Saul was dead, and it was time for David to become King. As a young man, he was anointed by the prophet Samuel, to be the King of Israel. However, Saul was king, and David had to fight some battles to get to the time and place where God wanted him. When this time approached, God sent help from everywhere...they were eager to make David king, and "were of one heart to make David king".

Why was this thing so? It was so because God had ordained it, and nothing could stand against His plans.

When your time of destiny comes, God will send help, and make straight the path wherein you should walk.

Lord God, I pray that You will find Your Gideon and prepare the way for him or her. Bring them fron obscurity into the attention of Your Gideon's praying army. It won't take a lot, just those You have called to intercede for this. Make us faithful. Do not let us worry about numbers. Let us know that the few You call are enough. We simply have to obey Your strategy to the letter. So, Lord, call forth Your Gideon and Your Gideon's army. Let us pray until this person is in The Whitehouse. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.
