What women should know....

These ads on TV about the human papilloma viris are not telling you the whole story.

They are saying any woman can get it....and possibly the cervical cancer that follows.

They are saying a particular product can possibly prevent you from getting it....

There is a HUGE cover up here!

The women in one of the commericals says she never knew that there was a viris women can get that can lead to cervical cancer.... I have known about this for many years. This commercial is saying women need to get educated. Yet, I have known this for years.

I heard the truth on a the Focus on the Family radio program. It was Christians who were kind enough to educate me. So, though, we are accused of being old fashioned, we were up on this well before these television commercials.

The human papilloma viris is not somthing ANY woman can get. Only SEXUALLY ACTIVE women can get it.... and this is women who have had more than one partner, not someone who has only had sex with their husband.

Well, I was just on The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sight, and they told the truth....The human papilloma viris is an STD (sexually transmitted disease). And they said the only way to prevent getting it is to refrain from sex. TRUTH!

Sometimes, I hear arguements with the Bible verses that say sex outside marriage is a sin.... But here is yet another proof that God was right after all. People think that God is trying to steal their fun. NO! He is trying to protect us.

Bottom line for all women reading this: your best plan of action, God's very best for You, is to marry ONE MAN and to have sex with only him. Or remain single and celebate to the end of your life on earth. Don't rush into marriage. Choose wisely who you marry. Read the Bible daily and search out a man who fits the Christ-like qualities in The Word. Be willing to stay single until you find that man....so you don't end up divorced....and trying to get with another man. Be patient and wait God's timing and man, so you can marry for life.

I think it only right to give the whole story on the human papilloma viris. They are saying you can be "one less," but they aren't telling you the REAL way to be one less -- have sex with only one person in your life, your husband.

If you are reading this and think this is too hard, then I offer the only way anyone can have the strength to remain celebate outside marriage: Jesus can give you the strength. The Bible says "I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me." If you know Jesus as Your Savior that's a start. Now, you need to make Him Lord. You need to fall in love with Him and put Him first IN ALL AREAS of your life. You need to obey His Word, simply because He IS Lord, and His Word tells us this is sin that can send us to hell. You need to let Jesus fill the empty place inside you that you are trying to satisfy with sex. Let Jesus be the partner in your life! Jesus can love you and satisfy you in a way no person or sexual relationship can. Let Him!

If you are sexually active right now, STOP! Admit it, quit it and forget it. Confess this sin to The Lord and make a new start in your life. Do not continue in behavior that puts your life in danger. Jesus will forgive you your past....though you may still have consequences to deal with. All you need do is ask Him. If you have escaped this STD so far, then make sure you don't get it! Become a new creation in Christ, and live a life that is celebate from now on until you marry. You can do this in Christ....and you will truly be ONE LESS!

Pastor Jerry,

Thank you for being bold enough and for caring enough to share the truth. I pray that all of us women will take heed to what you have shared and not take offense.

KJV 2 Timothy 3:13 ...Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Not to mention that other ad where the guy says he has a cetain STD, but he is taking this pill (?) that lessens his chances of spreading the disease. Abstinence works better! Period! God was not trying to take away our fun. He was trying to protect us!!!

Oh, and there is an ad that says what you do in Vegas stays there. . . .not if you bring an STD home.

Anyway, I know (not from personal experience) that some "so-called" Christian singles think it's OK to sleep around. I don't see how anyone would even want to take such a risk. And, the Bible says it is a sin.

These things should be emphsizing the truth of God's Word. But, instead, people come, even on this board, arguing that living in sin is not wrong.

not to mention that that vaccine only protect against 3 of hundreds of strains of this virus, and this vaccine has killed 3 people and thousands have had bad reactions where sores break out all over the girls' bodies..... so yeah, abstinence definatly works better than that... to think, Gov. Perry of Texas almost tried to mandate that all girls in Texas be required to take the vaccine...

Every word is true, Jeri, but a partner is only protected if the partner only has sex with them.

Unfaithfulness means, to me, that they have chosen to have sex with someone else and so they are contaminated and not welcome to have sex with the spouse until they can prove, through medical testing, that they are not carrying a miserable, or even deadly disease.

This can be very expensive and it can take a long time, even months, to get a clean bill of health.

This is especially true if there are children. Should both parents be contaminated because one chose to betray their lives? The faithful parent should guard their health for the sake of the children.

That jerk on the commercial who says that he has herpes and that dumbell behind him who says that she doesn't have it, but is willing to risk getting it from him are horrible people and will answer to God for giving wrong role models and changing society for harm.

It is funny that in that commercial they show people on bicycles. No one with the agonizing pain of the open and draining genital sores of herpes feels like riding a bicycle! YOWCH!

So, yes, faithfulness works, but only if they are BOTH faithful.

I know BOTH have to be faithful. And why would that girl be willing to risk getting it from him because he takes this medicine (or whatever it is)? It is stupidity! They think we are so gullible out here! (Well, many are.)

How about this other wonderful lie Hollywood promotes? When have you seen them present that sex outside marriage has any kind of negative fall out? Do they end up pregnant? Only in the new movie "Knocked Up" (which everyone at work is talking about -- and they say it's funny. That is NOT my kind of humor!!!) There is nothing humurous about wrecking your life emotionally, and possibly, physically. When have the Hollywood movies shown people ending up with STDs? I don't know of any.

OK, it's a very weird story, but "Rent" does show the fall out of being homosexual and doing drugs -- AIDS. It's way out there as far as chosen lifestyles and story line (awful stuff), but these people WERE dealing with AIDS, so that made it realistic.

There was one shown in the school that showed a girl with psyphilis (sorry, no clue how to spell that) because of having sex with a guy ONE TIME. Praise the Lord for some truth. But I heard students thought it was a boring movie.

Anyway, this whole lie is a tragedy. And the fact that even "Christians" are saying it's OK to have sex outside marriage is heart breaking. And WRONG< WRONG, WRONG!!!

What all of us should know: a spirit of lust is on so many in man/woman relationships. That is why it says in Song of Solomon not to stir up love before it's time. God wants His bride to be PURE unto Him.

If anyone is in a relationship where they are touching, kissing, caressing, too much physically. . .if they are seeing more skin than is right before marriage. . .if they are touching each other in any way that stirs up physical reactions (hormonal), then they can contact the spirit of lust. If their relationship started by being physically attracted to that person, then they must proceed with caution. Not that the relationship will be wrong just because physical attraction first drew them, but if they over emphasize that area, the spirit of lust can get a hold on them. How many times in movies have you seen a guy become a blithering fool over a pretty girl or woman? How many strong, great guys have become weak because of an attractive female? Well, you get my drift. It's a spirit of lust.

I see a box of white (pure, pure white), a jewlery box with satin lining, and it has pearls or a pearl or pearl jewlery inside. . . . This represents how God wants His children to reverance male/female realtionships. They must keep them PURE WHITE and consider them as priceless as the pearl of great price. The true Pearl Of Great Price is Jesus. But another pearl that is priceless is sexual purity, which includes not stirring up sexual feelings in somone you aren't married to. That's why relationships should be built on friendship and spiritual connections above all. A minimum of touching should occur, and the two should hold each other loosely (not become attached emotionally or physically too soon). Infatuation comes to mind. Anyone getting interested in someone should not be desperate, just because they so want to be with someone. They should be saying, "If it's what God wants, great. If it's not what God wants, okay. I simply want to get to know them until such a time as it's clear to me if I am supposed to be with them."

So often, we as Christians, emphasize the negative aspects of not saving sex for marriage. But we should also be emphasizing the POSITIVE reasons to wait. Do you want a jewel that is a cheap imitation and tarnishes? Or a gem that is a cultured pearl and shimmers? Do you want something of little value or of great vualue? Do you want something that will barely last or something that LASTS to the end of your life?

~JeriRose~

Since we cannot look at someone and know if they have an STD, abstinence is the best policy.
When I got married, I was required to give a blood sample in oreder to get my marriage license. They tested for AIDS and maybe syphillis, but do they test for HPV, genital warts, herpes, gonorreah, or any other nasty little critters?

When my friend married they exchanged health reports from extensive physicals as well as health histories.

They also exchanged financial reports and tax records.

They met relatives and long term friends, even if they had to travel to be with them.

It is a new world.

We had better know who we are going to marry.

"If you love them, you should trust them."

BUNK. If they don't want to disclose and let you do research then there is a reason.

Truth is a safe place to start.

Marry in haste, repent at your leisure.

Sharyn I totally agree with you!! My stubborn step-daughter who is 18 but act like she is 7(whom has a 22 month old baby) have been meeting guys here in Jersey left and right, and see nothing wrong with being 'friends'. Maybe they think we just got off the banana boat somewhere and don't know anything. Sneaking out until 2-3 am in the morning leaving her baby behind , there is nothing 'friendly' about that you are doing something you have no business doing . thinking this is cute. I told her that is unsafe, and that she don't have her priorities in order . And that a guy can have something and won't even tell her and then there she is believing whatever a guy who smiles in her face says . That is really crazy how in that herpes commerical how the guy says he has it but is taking the pill not to have an outburst !!! And the girl holding on to him saying she don't. Well just because you don't have it now don't mean you won't . Some girls think because they look healthy means that they are healthy. Boy are they wrong. I pray to God that these young ladies wake up before one day they won't be getting a clean bill of healthy from their doctors no more. And with multiple partners -- you wouldn't know when or who gave it to them. It will be like hunting for a needle in a hay stack.

Okay, Ladies and Gentlemen- I am from Texas, a Registered Nurse, and a loud mouth-

there is only one way to absolutely PREVENT getting ANY of these diseases- genital warts (human papilloma virus) included:

KEEP YOUR BRITCHES ON IF YOU'RE NOT MARRIED!
IF YOU ARE MARRIED, KEEP YOUR PARTS TO YOURSELF/YOUR SPOUSE.

short, simple, and not so sweet. I have just covered what the CDC, family planning and state/federal infection centers won't tell you because it's not "politically correct".

If you don't "mingle"- you have no worries. What's so confusing about that?
