She played one of my tapes, the one on Going Home. Her husband was so overcome by the Lord, he had to pull over to a rest stop. He just sat there with his head on the steering wheel. He began to sob and then to cry. His heart was breaking for his Lord. She said, I now have the husband I always wanted. I praise you, Lord! Can you see John the revelator on the Isle of Patmos? Can you hear his heart cry, as he penned these words, Who will believe our report? I now know how he felt on that island. My heart's cry as this new year begins is, See! Please, see my Master's hand. See that He is coming soon. You don't have to wait. He is here right now. He is calling to you. Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Don't let Him pass you by. Call out to Him and let Him hear your cry. So many say, I have seen miracles before. But, have they seen the Lord? Can you see John shake his head when he remembered what Jesus said, But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: Did not Jesus say, Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you. Don't go back to the darkness. Don't go back to the doubt and fear of before. Remember how sweet it was during the meetings. Remember the peace and excitement you felt when someone was touched by Jesus. Don't let go. Press in, and pray the glory down one more time today. Run to church. Kneel down and pray. Pray until you feel the Holy Spirit stay. Stir up the gift that is within you, so the Day of the Lord won't leave you behind. How do you put down these wonderful sights? We have seen so many things this year. Do you recall from the first letter this year at Central Park A/G. A blind girl saw, a crippled girl walked and a baby that was born at home dead came alive after 17 minutes with no air.
I asked my son, Steve, what was the holiest moment he had this year? He said, It was at the all night prayer meeting with the teens in Central Park, when a young girl started praying in the Spirit. Steve said, it was so holy. It was as if she rose to the heavenlies when she prayed in the Spirit that day. We were at Central Park twice this year for a total of ten weeks. We heard the Holy Spirit speak. We heard Him say, make way and get ready to come home. Now, look what the Lord has done. By the time you get this letter, the Lord will have given us almost 400 services this year alone. I know what Paul meant when he said II-Cor11:23 (I speak as a fool) ....; in labours more abundant. The tens of thousands of people who have been touched is overwhelming you know. I pray this chariot never stops. I pray I am allowed to ride it all the way up to heaven. I pray the Lord is glorified. A lady came up to me the other day. She had a tear in her eye. Oh, how many times I have seen the joy in someone who was about to cry. She came and said, Can I give you a hug? I asked why. A different lady came to the meetings six days in a row. Her neck and back were in great pain. Night after night, she came forward to pray. Night after night, she rose from the floor. Night after night, it looked like she could endure no more. Night after night, she just wanted to touch the Lord. Night after night, she went home in great pain. Night after night, she said, Jesus, I will be back again. Then she came. It was Sunday evening now. She could hardly sit in her chair. She was almost jumping up and down. She thought I did not know. She thought I did not see. But, oh, how I know when someone has touched the Master's hand. Did not Jesus see their faith? Did not Paul see their faith? Did not Peter and James see the lame man's faith. Now, I could see hers. There would be no crying tonight. There would be no struggle tonight. The Master's hand had touched her. I simply asked how. She said she was listening to a tape of mine on grace. Then the revelation came to her. Jesus died for her. It came to her in a lightning flash. A revelation that Jesus had healed her. Then she was completely made whole. She was healed in her body. She was healed in her soul. She was healed in her spirit also. Oh, Lord, how I love You. Your ways are always beyond man's ways. A lady named Mae wrote to me: Dear Jerry: First of all thank God for sending you here. Then thank God for giving you the messages you've been giving to us. I know you only want to do God's work. I have as a mother seen you do something that I've been praying for years to be done. I have twin daughters D and D. They have had bad feelings between them for years. At one time they were so close that they could feel each others pain, even when one lived in Seattle and one in Forks. D in Seattle would call and say, Mom, is D OK? I hurt or I was sick last night. Then because of a man they lost that feeling for each other. It broke my heart. By the way that man could care less now. Then came that wonderful night when I watched one of my girls stand in front of every one and ask her sister to forgive her. Do you remember that night Jerry? It was D, I've watched D hug her sister more every day. I see them sitting together in church. Jerry my heart jumps for joy every time I see that. I saw the Lord heal my daughter D one night when she had the heart attack in church. The ambulance was there to take her to town. God got D out of her wheelchair after eight years, (B's Mom). B is my son-in-law. All the people you've prayed for healing has been a very great blessing to me. My baby girl D has come back to church. Lots of my grand babies has found God. God made it possible for my niece to get married, A and M. My other niece and her husband were separated and are redoing their marriage vows. May God bless you and your family always. We were three weeks with Pastor Ken Walls in Neilton and then moved to Amanda Park Assembly of God Church. These two churches used to be one church. They are currently talking about uniting the congregations again. Pastor Ken is one of those pastors who really has a heart for his people. Pastor Les is a great man of God After the first two weeks we had a baptism service because so many had come back to the Lord. >
Below you see a joint baptism service between the two churches. A man who was a guest in the motel above the lake came down to give his heart to the Lord. He said the Lord told him it was now or never. I will never forget the look on his face as he finally surendered to Jesus. He has Jesus all over him as he came out of the water. One of the men being baptized was Bill Carlson, he was 81yrs old then. Pastors Ken Walls Les Thelander stood in that water for almost two hours. It was cold in the lake!< I shared last time that I need prayer warriors. A man came to me who had ministered in Africa. He said we cannot have the miracles he has in Africa because we will not believe. Well, I know the Lord wants to prove him wrong. I need 300 faithful people who will stand with us to pray in the miracles. God does not love people outside the U.S. more than He does here. A minister I know, who sees great miracles, has 200 people pray for each service. Will you stand with me on this? I have 145 now. God said He wants 300. Let's prove the devil wrong! He says people in Washington are not hungry for God. I say he is wrong! No great move of God has started without prayer. No great revival has started without prayer. This is not the prayer for your families. This is not the prayer for your church. This is not the prayer for your pastors. You should be doing that every day. Do we dare say it? Do we dare ask? This is prayer for mighty signs and wonders. This is prayer for God's glory to come down. This is prayer for liquid fire to fall from heaven. This is prayer for our churches to be put on fire. This is prayer for the last great revival. The Lord is looking for 300 faithful people who will answer the call. You don't have to leave your homes. You have to pray. I will be sending out regular updates and prayer requests. If a man in Africa can get 200 people to pray for every service, and he sees hundreds of thousands get saved and healed, why not here in America? We are no different than them. Our families need it. Our kids need it. Our nation needs it. Our Lord wants it. Jesus deserves to see it. I wish I could personally thank each and every one of you who have been faithfully supporting us each month. I just learned this most wonderful lesson. We must give to God first. We cannot bargain with Him. Do not say, if you give me this I will give you that. We must come to the Father with open hearts and open hands. 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; (Do you see we must give first, not last, then we receive from the Lord) good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. We receive from God in the same measure. Do you need time? . Do you need comfort? Do you need support? Do you need finances? Do you need love? Then give what you need the most to the Lord first. That is how he multiplied the fishes. He gave them away, and as long as he kept giving, God kept supplying above what he needed Matthew 14:19 ...,and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
