Jerry, two months ago I couldn't have said that! I don't know why I feel compelled to write this letter but I'm writing it for a purpose I guess. Jerry, you said you fell in love with us [Dumas, Texas] right, well, that is how we feel too! Oh, Jerry this blows my mind that life could actually be this good! I have learned so much since I was saved! I learned that some people in this world condemn harshly for your beliefs but I have also learned how to stand on the rock even if I am standing alone. I refuse to turn back, my road is one way! You know, Jerry, I know I am heading up on the highway to heaven, but I feel like everyone is driving a car up the road and here I am on a tricycle trying and struggling on this highway with everyone passing me! Tricycle or car ... hmm... who will win? Is this a contest? Well, do you wanna' know something cool? I would not trade my little dinky tricycle for a car for a million bucks! You wanna' know why? I think of it this way, a tricycle pretty much cannot break, the tires are hard so they won't lose air and have to stop. A car, on the other hand, could blow a tire or run out of gas. It could break down. So, while some people might be pulled over or even some are going back for this or that, I will be pedaling along, waving, and just going a steady pace up towards God! Also, if there is a traffic jam, I can just pick up my tricycle and go through! Hmm... funny explanation but oh well, huh! I know it would be a struggle on that tricycle but I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me! K.G.
