I was so excited because I knew I was going to be healed and I was. I got a miracle, God healed my whole spine..... On july of 1988, I was injured on the job at a nursing home where I was working. The injury was to my neck and lower back. I could hardly turn my neck due to the spurs I had. It was so very painful at all times, I couldn't stand any pressure on my neck at all. I could feel the spurs every time I turned my neck. The injury to my lower back was to the L-5 S-1, the disc just above the tail bone. My tail bone was sore all the time from the very beginning. As the months went by the pain to my lower back was so intense no one could touch it at all. I was told by several doctors that when you have an injury to the neck and lower back to the degree that I did that it would spread up the spine and cause all kinds of problems, which it did. So now my whole back hurt all the time. The Osteo arthritis set in and that caused very intense pain up and down my whole spine. I was in a real mess, the pain never went away, it was with me day and night every day for almost six years. My arms would go numb on me and ache a lot. The osteo-arthritis spread to my hips especially the right one. It was very hard to get comfortable in bed at night due to all the pain and discomfort in my whole body. I had headaches many times a week and took so many medications I could have started my own pharmacy. I did everything the doctors told me to do and nothing helped. I even went through months of physical therapy and the pain was still there. Every single day I used my ice packs and my heating pads. No matter where I went all I wanted to do is get back home to the heat and ice packs. The pain changed my life. I had to do everything different, I worked my days around my pain. Sleeping at night was real torture. I couldn't get comfortable because I couldn't lay on my back or my right hip which was the worst hip out of the two. So that's where the medication came in. I was given trazodone to help me sleep at night and flexoral as a muscle relaxer, and anaprox which is an anti-inflammatory and pain killer. Then I took up to 6 to 9 acc's which has codine in them and I bought them over in Victoria. But on the evening of April 13th-19 at the Christian Lighthouse church I went up to have Jerry Gaffney lay hands on me and pray for me. I WAS SO EXCITED BECAUSE I KNEW I WAS GOING TO BE HEALED AND I WAS. I GOT A MIRACLE, GOD HEALED MY WHOLE SPINE AND DELIVERED ME FROM ALL THE MEDICATIONS I WAS TAKING WITH NO WITHDRAWALS AT ALL. I HAD NO MORE PAIN, NO MORE SORENESS, NO MORE HEADACHES. I COULD MOVE AND BEND AND STAND AND SIT WITH NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. Oh Lord "praise you and thank you with all my heart and more." It's been three weeks today since my miracle and I am so happy to be without pain. The only soreness I had was in my arms from having them in the air so much praising my Lord for my healing. God has healed me of other things that I didn't even ask for, like the blockage I had in my throat. It only bothered me at night but it is all gone now. I had a drainage in both my ears, and that has stopped. I also couldn't hear as well from my left ear as I could my right. That's been healed also. I had an infected ingrown toe nail for many months that wouldnt heal up. Now it is all healed also. Noises bothered my ears to where I had cotton in them most of the time but now I dont use the cotton except on a windy day, and thats only to keep out the wind. GOD HAS ALSO BLESSED MY FINANCES IN SEVERAL AREAS. THEN TO TOP IT OFF I WENT BACK UP FOR PRAYER AND RECEIVED THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES. In fact over-flowing in tongues, and since that evening the Lord has given me another language in tongues so now I am blessed with two languages in tongues Sharon M |
