He was blind. Now he can see Articles / Testimony Letters Date: May 28, 2002 - 02:00 AM When I opened my eyes I was overwhelmed with Gods love and to my joy, I was able to see single objects. In June of 1989 an eye exam uncovered that I had a brain tumor. I underwent surgery immediately but was left legally blind. For a period of two years I used a white cane whenever I walked. I finally turned to prayer and standing on scripture, especially 1 Peter 2:24. As a result of prayer some vision returned although the doctors had told me that it would never happen. Although I was very thankful and extremely grateful to the Lord, my vision was still very poor. I SAW DOUBLES AND TRIPLES OF EVERYTHING AND HAD NO DEPTH PERCEPTION OR PERIPHERAL VISION. On May 7, 1994 I attended church services in Forks, Wa with Jerry Gaffney conducting said services. At the end of the services I made the altar call and asked for healing of the eyes. WHEN I OPENED MY EYES I WAS OVERWHELMED WITH GODS LOVE AND TO MY JOY I WAS ABLE TO SEE SINGLE OBJECTS. I praise the Lord for his love and mercy and although my vision still isn't 20/20 I know that I'm right where the Lord wants me and in his time the healing will be complete.
