Hello everyone,
A few days ago Dad posted an article asking everyone to please pray. A few responded and did. To those, I thank you. I have not yet had the opportunity to travel to Portland to see the battle first-hand. I only know what is going on through my conversations with Dad. It's amazing to me. Portland is only a few hours away from my home - and yet a war, is going on so close to home. What amazes me even more is that people in the same city turn a blind eye to what is happening to their city, friends, and family.
I don't begin to say that I know anywhere near what Dad knows about God and prayer. What I do know is that when I don't pray things always seem to go wrong. When I do pray, somehow everything always seems to work out ok.
Dad is in a big battle down there. People are dying and seriously hungry for God in our own back yard. I've watched from his side for years now, and I promise you, the only way it will break out is if everyone joins together and prays.
<font="red"> Please, take a minute and leave your prayers for this city - Portland - the people, and for Dad as he continues his job down there.
The Lord bless you all
Shawn
