We have some awesome video of the meetings in Portland. Please take a few minutes to view them.
If you have HIGH SPEED CABLE OR DSL CLICK HERE If you have SLOW MODEM CLICK HERE The video was done on a VHS camera, so it is not the best quality - but the anointing is on it.
Also, this is a copy of an e-mail I received today from a leader in the church where I am holding meetings. I ask you, dear friends, to please hold us up in prayer. Does someone have to get hurt before we call out to God for prayer and protection? We are in a war zone, and I need your Help. Please, read the whole story. Jerry

Dear Jerry:
This morning at your evangelistic meeting at Portland Metro Assembly of God Church you asked when anyone attending the meeting had last heard a gunshot. I immediately raised my hand, because I heard gunshots last night at about 1:15 am.
The shots sounded like a 22mm pistol coming from about six blocks northeast from my house. I was a bit surprised and dismayed, since I have not heard many gunshots in my neighborhood since mid summer.
If you are wondering why I am so confident about how far away the shots were, and from what caliber weapon, well I have a lot of experience. I have lived in the same house on North Borthwick for over 12 years, and much of the time I've lived here gunshots were a daily occurrence. My two little daughters witnessed a gunfight a block while playing in front of my house in broad daylight.
Our car was once used as cover during a gunfight. That was scary. There was a bullet hole in the driver's side door of my car to prove it. Thank God my wife and children weren't in it! It was not uncommon to hear that someone had been shot a block or two from my home!
It's not very spiritual to admit this, but when I heard the gunshots last night (about five shots) my
first impulse was relief! I quickly calmed and comforted myself with the thought that the shots were too far from my house to be a threat to my family, and at least there weren't gunshots every day anymore.
I'm sorry to admit that over the years exposure to
this type of violence in my immediate neighborhood has callused me to the danger these gunshots announce. It wasn't until much later that I prayed for those involved in action. May the Lord have mercy on their souls, and use the incident to show them His goodness and turn their hearts to Him.
My heart's prayer is that if shots were to penetrate our house (and that has happened too!) my wife and daughters be spared. I would gladly die in their
place.
To those who say that there is no longer any reason to fear being shot in a drive by shooting in this and other nearby neighborhoods, I disagree. Since the churches began fervently praying, and yes, prayer walking the streets in this area, the violence has decreased. But it's not dead. In fact, I have been alarmed by the increase of violent and other crimes committed in this neighborhood over the last few months.
The people of Portland need to experience the love and presence of our heavenly Father. We all need to see the demonstration of the power and love of God in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank God that this has been happening in the meetings you have been holding at Portland Metro Church. This is an answer to our prayers. I pray it continues until the entire city and surrounding region is won for Jesus and the kingdom of heaven.
Sincerely,
Nate Alexander
For those who cannot come, will you pray? Will you break open the war chest, and help us help them? Any gift will help. The demon of poverty here is one of the largest I have ever seen. This is the first time I have ever asked this way. I just know we can win this war. If you have been blessed in the services in the past, I ask you to help us be a blessing here.
