Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, for being there for us. Later I will write about what the Lord showed me these last few weeks. The victories were sweet, but the pain was a great price. So many hurting people in the world, we must, yes we must show them the Love of Jesus.
Sometimes I am not sure anyone ever reads this stuff. I had told you, Later I will write about what the Lord showed me these last few weeks. Well it came out today in a letter I had been writing to another friend. And an email I got from a very wouned mom who is not as close to Jesus right now as she should be. The first person said: Jerry, I don't know what you are going through at this time, but when I got your e-mail and was thinking of you, I began to cry. I felt like I was going to ball.This morning I talked to Steve about how much I love you and your example of a man SEEKING Gods heart with all of his might, I was overwhelmed again with tear's. (it was the kind if you let go you turn your insides out ) I will continue to lift you and your family up. We might not get to see you, but you have had a significant impact on Steve's and my life. We will NEVER be the same. The second one said: It is to late for me... I deserve all that I have comming to me in life I feel that I had my chance and becaues of fears and such I failed but please ask God to not let my daughter go.. but some how I decided to start with little steps (towards the Lord) like reading your newsletters. I have 1 request..it is prayer for my daughter..she knows right from wrong and her conscious must be eating her alive.. I pray that God reach her before AIDS or more pregnancys do. Will You..... Please Click read more if you want to know... CLICK HERE Now for some of what the Lord has been showing me I post part of an email I sent to couple I knew in Krikland. As I was writing to them I knew the Holy Spirit was really putting together my notes for everyone. The letter started.... Dear Sherrie and Steve: Thank you for being so caring about battles we are in. I really believe it was the anointing of God on the email to let you know just a little of what is going on. . You said: "Jerry, I don't know what you are going through at this time, but when I got your e-mail and was thinking of you, I began to cry. We will NEVER be the same." If you have time, let me bring you up to date. I know you are busy, but if the Lord allows, get a cup of coffee or tea and find a quiet place to sit down. I know that may be hard with the new baby, but may I share my day with you. The battle for souls we are in is just as fierce as the war in Iraq. Do you remember the battle for Kirkland when the reporters and police surrounded the building? We had over so many threats, but the price was worth it. The altars were filled that night, and thousands around the world have been touched by the video. You may not know this, but I have received emails, from around the world, from people who have been saved by watching that video. A school in Oklahoma uses it to teach people on how to get saved. They saw the price we were paying, and the price Jesus paid. One teacher said it is the best video on the price of the cross he has ever seen CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO The battle to keep people focused on revival, and the need to see what the enemy is really up to, is amazing to me. It seems all satan has to do is get some leaders confused, tired, insecure, or fearful, and they want to call a truce. Satan does not call for peace. Once you believe that lie, he will pick you off, one by one. He will kill your soldiers, one by one, just like a sniper. He only comes at you with full force when he sees you running away or trying to slow things down. When leaders see the casualties of war, ie. the people running from battle or their churches, they become insecure and fearful. They need to be leaders not followers. When a commanding officer yells, "Charge!", you are to run toward the enemy not away. If he sees some of the troops running away, his job is to encourage the ones going in the right direction. He does not have a counseling session with the deserters - no matter how much he loves them. He must keep the bigger picture in mind - not his friendship with deserters. You did not see Jesus running after Judas. You did not see Jesus running after Peter when he cursed him and denied him. Jesus finished the battle at hand, then found Peter at the right time. Leadership in Christ is the same way. Do we lead our troops into battle, or run after the problem people? Do we have churches that are making a difference? Are we taking back our neighborhoods and towns, or are we just trying to hold on to the fort? I see so much teaching about the five-fold with little understanding. Everyone one seems to want to be an apostle or a prophet. Few seem to be competing for the last place - evangelist. Few seem to even understand them. Did not the Word say, the first shall be last and the last be first? So, in God's order, evangelists are the highest not the lowest. My God, I see so many who say they are tired. I see so many who want to quit or retire. I see so many who say it is time to rest. I wonder what would have happened if our soldiers in Iraq took a time-out or a coffee break. It was the constant pounding and pressure that broke the back of the enemy. We, as Christians, must have the same constant pounding - of prayers and intercession and witnessing and healings and demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit, until we take back our cities. We must do this until we break the principalities and powers that hold our towns, families or churches. Why are our churches closed 5 days a week? Why is satan's house of sin open 7 days a week? Our churches should be the places of refuge, the places of liberation, the places of healing. Why are the hospitals open 24/7 and our churches open 3/2? Where are our 24-hour prayer towers? Where are our prophets who know where Saddam is? Where are the real apostles who can change a nation? I am so tired of these so-called false prophets. I can't tell you how many emails I received saying we were going to lose the war in Iraq. I am sure these false prophets are glad they live in the New Testament times not Old. Do you remember when we set up a 24-hour prayer clock in Kirkland? We had three types. We still have hundreds praying that way right now. I believe it is the "granny-commandos" and people like you who have made this war go so well. It is a rare person today who is so sensitive to the Holy Spirit to intercede the instant the Spirit moves on them. It was the gray-haired women who got on their knees and prayed for their sons and daughters, grandchildren and friends to be spared from the hand of satan. It was the army of "granny-commandos" we have who believed, "if God be for us, who can be against us?" It is the "granny-commandos" who believed, "no weapon formed against us will prosper". Even though they were exhausted from the day's work, they did not tire. Even though their bodies were in physical pain, they did not faint. Even though satan whispered they could go no farther, they did not stop until God moved. For they knew it only took one bullet to kill. Many young soliders in Iraq know that today. When grandma said, "I will be praying for you", they said, "sure Ma", but I know when the bullets were flying, they knew that Grandma was still praying for them. We have testimony after testimony of people who know God became their shield. One tank commander said every tank under his command was hit by RPG'S, many times. He was on TV, and showed the holes in the tanks. Then, as the testimonies come out, it was as if an angel stood in front of his company and stopped the damage. Explosions would go off, but no one was hurt. My friend, that was the Lord being a shield. I don't care if people believe the testimonies of the soldiers or not. We know it was God. This is the kind of warfare we are in today. There is a Prophetic prayer clock for those who have the ear of God to pray down the fire and glory of God - for the prophets who have a burden for leadership, to anoint kings and pray for them - not criticize them. The prophetic anointing knows when to stand in the gap and stop the powers of darkness. The prophetic anointing can blind the enemy's eyes of understanding, so he can see to do no evil. As I said before, a tank commander gave this testimony when he described how all the tanks in his company where pounded by RPG's (rocket propelled grenades), strong enough to kill his men, and no one was hurt. He said it was as if something was standing in front of his men and taking the hit for them. That, my friend, is the pure picture of God making a difference. It is the same power the prophet Elisha had over the Syrians when they surrounded them. There is a Priestly prayer clock for those who have been anointed to intercede for the wounded, bruised and broken - Hebrews 4. The priestly anointing stands in the gap, and pleads for mercy for the ignorant and those in sin. It is an anointing of compassion just like Jesus Who ever lives to make intercession. This was demonstrated when shots were fired from a mosque, and no fire was returned by the Americans. The commander said it was as if they just knew the Lord did not want it done. The priestly prayer warriors are praying for mercy. They are praying for the peace and love of God to rise up and take over the hearts of the people. There is a Kingly prayer clock for those who have an anointing to pray for those who cannot help themselves. It is for the prayer warriors who see a need to pray for the helpless. Real leaders want to serve, not be served. It is the anointing to pray for leadership. It is the anointing that will rise up and stand against the powers of darkness. It is the anointing that will keep you going in this battle until we win. There is no surrender. Where are the leaders who will fight? We do not need any more gutless leaders but brave leaders! When was the last time you saw an all night prayer group. When was the last time you saw someone stay and pray until the answer came? I want to thank you for being part of that. We have already seen over a thousand saved this year alone and yet there are churches that have not had one salvation in years. God will judge them for that. I am told they did not want to upset the apple cart. I wonder what they would have done when Jesus upset the carts in the temple. I wonder what they would do if Jesus upset their cart. Real accountability is when the Master comes home to receive His reward and sees that there has been no growth. My, my, my, I wonder what they will say. As James said, "Show me your faith that did not grow. Show me your faith that did not produce one soul, and I will show you My faith that changed a nation" (Gaffney version). Satan continually waves a white flag of peace. He continually calls for unity in the community. He continually calls for non-discrimination between the religions. Well, I want to tell you God is prejudiced. He does discriminate. Jesus said He, and only He, is the way to heaven. When will we get that right? There is no other way than Jesus. We must not stop the war by letting satan win. We are pounding the enemy's camp, day after day, lighting fires of revival around the nation. We have seen so many touched by God. We still are holding services almost every night. This is one of the few time the Lord took me off the front lines and put me back into the prayer closet. I am so glad he did. He lifted the burden at midnight on the 10th of April. Please, pray for us. If you want to become a partner, please, let us know, and I will keep you up-to-date on what the Lord is showing.
