I have not been free to write about this before, I believe God was drawing those he wanted to the meeting......
Blaine citizens have experienced many changes in the last few weeks, many have lost loved ones, many have made new friends. City Hall said Good-bye to a special council member, and welcomed a new council member, and a city manager into their world, we hope this will be the best for residents also.......
One of the visits that have made an impact and changes in so many lives has been a five-week visit by Jerry and Jan Gaffney to Peace Arch Assembly of God Church. Jerry has ministered in love of God to hundreds of persons in morning and evening services. There has been a mighty move of God here with documented healings - spiritually, physically, and permanently. Family restoration were experienced so many times. The Holy Joy that has been sweeping the many small communities across this great nation, and around the world has also visited this small needy community. Revival will last in the lives of those who have been touched after Jerry and Jan have left for other small comunities. Jerry and Jan will be here only until Friday September 16.
I have not been free to write about this before, I believe God was drawing those he wanted to the meeting, not just curiosity seekers. People have come from all over to these meetings, from Idaho, Canada, Sumas, Bellingham, Ferndale, and Blaine.
A wave of revival such as Peach Arch Assembly has been experiencing, has been visited in other states such as California, Idaho, Oregon, Florida, Tennessee, and Canada, as well many places here in Washington since the beginning of this year.
Many people who have been praying for this move of God to visit America again, say this is like the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles in the early part of this century. That revival began with twelve people meeting in a warehouse, and spread across the face of this nation and around the world. The present revival seems to be like candles being lit in small churches lighting the communities. God seems to be using common, everyday persons to move through to touch the hurting and broken heart instead of "known evangelists." I, and many like me, will never be the way we were - changed for better.
