New Life A/G Port Townsend, WA Testimonial for Jerry Gaffney I thank the Lord for his great work in me and the church I pastor - New Life Assembly of God. We had been praying months for a move of God in Port Townsend. Many members of our congregation were blessed in the meetings in Quilcene. So we looked forward anxiously for the beginning of our meetings in Port Townsend with Jerry and Jan Gaffney. Jerry is a man uniquely used of God in the moving of the spirit in renewal/revival. In our church the fruit of his ministry to this point is over 90 people have responded in altar calls for salvation or remodeling. We have baptized over 25 to this point with several more to be baptized. A most wonderful blessing of his ministry is that almost our entire youth group has been baptized in the Holy Spirit and over 40 people have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. Almost daily people are coming to Jesus to be saved - sometimes up to 5 people a day. God started moving immediately the first couple of days. In the last week of August 96', several dynamic young men were being made right with God, and being called into ministry. Our high point for me immediately was Rich D'Agostino and Andy D'Agostino, young men of dynamic testimony going to NW College. One Friday morning, August 30th about 50 people, teenagers and adults walked through the downtown area of P.T. carrying Bibles and claiming the territory for Jesus. Prior to that on the same morning 12 young people were baptized in the Holy Spirit! Several healings have taken place, one an infant buried alive in a backhoe accident expected to die that God has and is continuing to heal. One, my brother Tim, sick for many years with severe asthma, was healed on a Sunday morning. Many people have been touched, blessed and saved from numerous church backgrounds. We praise God for the revival that God has birthed here in Port Townsend. Jerry and Jan Gaffney are precious servants of Jesus, and dear friends of my wife Donna and myself.
