Should we boycott Macy's All my life I have been a Christmas person. It was always my time of year. Now all my childhood dreams are being destroyed one by one. I never thought in my whole life the Grinch would actually steal Christmas. He was suppose to become the good guy. The movie Miracle on 34th St. was about Macy's department store. I love the buttons and ribbons and boxes and bows. I loved shopping for friends and family. All my life I never thought the grinch was real until now. Well I want to tell you the Grinch is still alive and doing well. He stole Macy's and now he is stealing Christmas. My heart is broken. So I ask you should we BOYCOTT Macy's because they stole Christ out of Christmas. For greed and money Federated's heart has grown two sizes to small. So now the Federated Department Stores, Inc., which operates more than 450 stores in 34 states under names such as Bloomingdale's, Bon-Macy's, Burdines-Macy's, Goldsmiths-Macy's, Lazarus-Macy's and Rich's Macy's has offically banned Christmas from their stores. According to Federated, "phrases like 'Season's Greetings' and 'Happy Holidays' are much better to them because they say they embrace all religious and ethnic celebrations that take place in November and December and are more appropriate for the many diverse cultures in America today." Therefore they have taken Christ out of Christmas because they found Christ to be offensive. So the board of directors issued a memo to take Christ out of all of their 450 stores. Employees are counseled not to mention Christ during the holiday season. This is the official policy for the Federated Department Stores.
