| Monday Evening Prayer Meetings at 'His Sanctuary'

The Monday evening prayer nights have been wonderful. It reminds me a lot of the beginning years of our ministry, as hungry hearts came to seek the Lord.
We’ve had precious times of prayer together, and God’s presence has been so real. As Jerry shares God’s Word with us, we sit on the edge of our seats taking it all in – flipping through the pages of our Bible to follow along.
Our heart’s cry has been “Souls, Lord!” That prayer is already being answered at His Sanctuary, as people are bringing their unsaved friends. Sometimes it’s a lot easier to bring them to a house where they feel welcome and comfortable. We never tire of seeing people give their hearts to Jesus Christ! If you have a friend or relative who really needs to touch the Lord, this is where I’d bring them.
It’s possible to sit in a service, week after week, and never get to know people. We were ‘spurred on’ to make sure that doesn’t happen at His Sanctuary. Each week, one person is given the opportunity to share their testimony with the group. It’s great to hear how the Lord reached each person with the gospel, and the way it changed their lives. We love getting better acquainted with one another, and look forward to seeing you there. We hope to see you there! The meeting start at 7:00pm every Monday evening.

| Merry Christmas from Jerry, Jan, and family.

My Dear Friends:
You have no idea how wonderful it is to have friends like you. Over the past 12 years, we have seen so many wonderful things. It seems that there could never be enough words to express the love and appreciation we have for you. I want to thank all of you for your love and friendship you have shown Jan and me this year. As most of you know, this has been a year of mountain climbing for us. After almost 6000 services over a 12 year period of time we have learned what some of you have gone through.
It is one thing to look at someone who cannot walk and say, “get up and walk.” It is another thing to tell someone who feels so weak that they can not move to, “just believe” - and then, when even the doctors don’t offer much hope, to look and say, “Jesus loves you.” I have learned what the path some of you have been on is like, and my love and appreciation for your courage has grown beyond belief.
For those of you who do not know, earlier this year I almost died. The doctors said I only had 7 weeks to live. My heart was only pumping about 20%, so they said I would die of congestive heart failure. If that did not get me, they said I had lumps on my lungs. If that did not get me, they found cancer on my back. And if that did not get me, a paralysis hit my legs. I also had diabetes with sugar levels almost at 500.
The devil likes to come in and make us feel alone. He likes to say in the night times that no one cares or understands. Then, just at the last minute, our precious Holy Spirit moves on you to call or drop a note of encouragement—at the exact time when it is needed the most. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Now, to share the miracles the Lord has done. My heart is almost back to normal. The cancer and lumps are gone, and my sugar levels are almost normal. The only thing I am fighting right now is the paralysis and pain and weakness in my legs.
Now, to share the miracles the Lord has done. My heart is almost back to normal. The cancer and lumps are gone, and my sugar levels are almost normal. The only thing I am fighting right now is the paralysis and pain and weakness in my legs.
I had asked the Lord what He wanted us to do. He said, “Get ready for the next revival.” I asked, “How Lord?” It was then He provided us a place to hold prayer meetings, and later workshops on prayer and revival - a place to train those looking for the fire of God.
I was watching TV the other day, and a preacher came on who was talking about a life-threatening disease he had. Just like me, he was at the point of death and could barely walk. He said he soaked himself for almost a year in the Word of God. Day and night, he played the Word of God, until it finally hit him. Faith cometh by hearing, hearing a word from God. Even though he had listened to hundreds of hours of tape, all of a sudden, a verse jumped out, and he knew he was healed.
So, that is what I am doing. I really believe we have a covenant with God. I really believe we have His promise to heal. I really believe we have His Word. So, I prayed the other day. Jesus, if I give a promise to someone to do something, then I must do it. You said, “These signs shall follow them that believe… lay hands on the sick and they shall be recover. Thank you, Lord, for keeping Your word. I will fill myself with Your Word now until it finally does its job.......

| Pastor Jerry, dad, will be going to the hospital on Monday, please pray for him.
Update: Thursday May 11th
I just wanted to give a quick update and a shout of praise for how well Pastor Jerry is doing. To understand just how well he is doing, it's important to know that just as recently as Monday Jerry couldn't walk. His left leg was basically 'dead' and there wasn't any connection between the nerves in his leg and the muscles. Just lifting his left leg off the ground was impossible, and the pain was tremendous.
Well praise the Lord, that is all but gone now. For the first time in months, I watched dad get up and out of the hospital bed with no assistance and no pain. To see him up and around without his walker was so good to see that I can't begin to describe how happy we all were. And to think, it was only a couple of days ago, that the doctors once again told us not to expect much change at all for at least a few months. Well obviously the Lord has different plans.
Pastor Jerry will remain in the hospital until at least Saturday if not Sunday night, as he still has a few days remaining on the ivig.
At this point, the only thing left is to pray that he is healthy enough, and able to have the operation on his double hernia. Normally it can take months if not longer to even get on the list for the operation, but once again the Lord seems to be granting Pastor Jerry great favor with the doctors. Just a few hours ago, he had a consult with the head surgeon, and they are going to do some tests to see if dad can have the operation. They will also take a look at the 'lumps' on his arm and leg at the same time.
As I get more information I will post it in this thread for everyone. We are watching miracles happen right before our eyes, and it's your prayers that are making this possible.
Thank You
Shawn
As many of you are aware, Pastor Jerry, dad, has been sick for quite some time now. The list of things that went 'wrong' with him was huge, and Praise the Lord, everything that he originally went in for is either under control, or has been healed.
The biggest thing left that he is fighting is severe 'level 10' pain from the nerves in his left leg. Evidentally it has something to do with the diabetes he had, and there really isn't a cure. His left leg is pretty much useless now, as it cannot support
any of his weight, and is quite painfull. He can only get around with a 'walker' right now, and stairs are virtually impossible to use.
Monday morning, he will be going into the hospital for an 'experimental' ivig treatment that will take a minimum of 3 days. There are huge side effect risks involved with this treatment, but according to the neurologists, it's the last thing they have to try.
Short of an outright miracle, this is the last 'medical' option, and even if it goes as planned, it won't return him to normal.
I am asking everyone to join together in prayer for Pastor Jerry this upcoming week. I'd love it if we could cover him with a 24 hour prayer chain, but I don't have the time to personally organize it prior to his hospitalization. So please, those that can, pass
on the word and lets pray for a miracle. It's more than time for Pastor Jerry to be out of pain, walking again, and back on the road doing what he loves most, preaching and praying for you guys 'n gals.
Thank you
Shawn
A prayer added by Pastor Jerry
I have prayed this prayer for others in the past I find I am praying it for myself today. I will be in the hospital next week monday - friday. Who will join me in praying we see this mountain moved
Father, I thank You for this wonderful opportunity to minister to my family today and to be open enough to let others walk with me on this journey to my healing.
Satan is so stupid; he never remembers the verses that say, ISA 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
He never remembers: HEB 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
That, as a child of God, we can go where satan cannot go.
We can go to the inner court of mercy.
There is no mercy for satan anymore
But my Lord is my refuge and strength.
PSA 86:5 For thou, Lord, [art] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. 86:6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. 86:7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
Father, we have learned not to FEAR - which means to give respect or worship to the problem. Your Word encourages us to worship and respect the Problem-Solver.
PSA 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
PSA 46:1 .... God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 46:2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 46:3 [Though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
Father, I pray for my healing today. The doctors like to scare people with words, but God likes to do the opposite. The doctors say what I have has no cure. The Lord says I am already healed by the stripes of Jesus. I like what the Lord says.
So, Father, we come against satan and his evil report and We love standing on Your Word. We ask for this healing - not only for my body, but my soul and spirit also. Father, we rebuke the hand of satan here, and ask for Your mercy one more time. As a child, we thank You.
For my friends who had said, "Father don't take Jerry; take me instead". My darling, friends, I know your heart, for that is where many parents are when their child gets hurt.
Think on this - over two thousand years ago Jesus said, ABBA Father, don't let satan take them, I will take their sins and I will take their sickness to the cross. Daddy, let me die for them.
ISA 53:4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs (He has taken OUR sickness'), and carried our sorrows: (to the cross).... 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him (on Jesus) the iniquity of us all.
So you see my precious friends, Jesus has already prayed your prayer - but a little different way.
He wants to take your pain. He wants to take your sorrow. He want to take the sickness that satan tries to kill you with. He wants to do it for everyone who will humble themselves and pray and say, "Jesus, I will follow you this time."
These are the promises, open to everyone who has an open line to heaven. The only problem is that you have to make the call. Father I am dialing right now, thank you for answering my call to heaven for this healing in Jesus Name.

My Dear Friends:
I wanted to take this time to thank you for all your love and care. Each and everyone of you mean so much to Jan & Me.
I am not sure who will be reading this but I know the Lord will touch the ones he wants to.
May I tell you a little story. Last Year was one of the best years of my whole life. We saw thousands healed, saved and delivered. After preaching in Washington, Oregon, California, Mexico, Texas, New York and Oklahoma I had noticed we had been on the road for almost 8 months.
By the Time I got home I was tired. We finished the year by going into the inner city and help give about 10,000 toys away to needy children for Christmas. You should have seen their faces.
In January I noticed I was real tired so I went to the Doctors to see what was up. I was not prepared for the news.
He said I had.
1: Cancer and it had to be operated on now.
2: Diabetes sugar levels over 400
3: High Blood pressure 195/100
He did a biopsy.
It is cancer
One of the complications is getting a fever which I have now.
I am sorry for not telling you sooner.
Please forgive me for the Pride.
I just know the Lord must be up to something wonderful this year.
So I am going to enjoy the battle and watch the victory from him
We can't do this without you so again please forgive me for not being more open sooner.
I Love you guys.
Pastor Jerry
UPDATE!
This is Steve, Jerry's son. My Dad is at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. I just talked with my Dad this morning and he wanted me to give you all an update. He is not sure how long they will keep him and the list of obstacles has grown. They now are saying that he has the following: High blood pressure, Diabetes, Pneumonia, Congestive heart failure, Cancer, and an unspecified lung disease.
We still choose to believe the report of the LORD! We only post this as an update so that you know how to target your prayers on his behalf. The address to the hospital can be found at the following address:
If you would like to send him a card in the mail, please send it to the following address:
Madigan Army Medical Center
Attn: Jerry Gaffney - Ward 2 South
Tacoma, WA 98431
Thank you so much once again for all of your love, prayers, and support. We look forward to seeing the victory of the LORD in this battle!
Be blessed,
Steve Gaffney
Update #2
Jerry is going to have an angiogram on Monday, due to some problems with the heart bloodflow. I don't have any further information at this moment.
I just got off the phone with Pastor Daniel Ponce and he has agreed to get all of his prayer warriors involved as well. He has one of the best prayer warrior groups out there and is a dear friend of dad and myself.
By joining together we will have people from all over south and central America, as well as his state side church's praying as well.
Thank you all for storming the heavens with your prayers.
Sunday update:
Well I just found out that dad is going to have full blown angioplasty and not just an angiogram tomorrow. The doctor told us to be prepared for full blown open heart surgery should something go wrong, so please continue to keep Jerry in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. Obviously we don't want any complications with the surgery.
To everyone that has been praying and those who have driven all the way up to the hospital, Jerry said to say thank you. Your prayers will make a huge difference.
Monday Update:
Jerry had his angiogram today and praise the Lord it came out clear with no blockages at all. It really has the doctors baffled now trying to figure out why his bloodpressure is so high and why he has so little blood oxygen. The good news is dad did not need angioplasty or open heart surgery.
Also as to the cancer it looks like it's possible he wont need surgery but rather radiation treatment for 6 weeks instead. The Lord is taking care of these problems one at a time and the prognosis looks somewhat encouraging.
I am sure it is due to all of the prayers from so many people around the world. Thank you and please keep dad in your prayers. He will be in the hospital at least until Wednesday, possibly longer. They are still treating the pneumonia and diabetes along with everything else. I will post more information as I get it.

Please pray for Stevi, he is my son and he's 12 and having chemo for a bone marrow transplant on the 21st for chronic myelogenous leukemia. He's sick and he's afraid. Pray that he will have the very least side effects and that he will have 100% engraftment and healing with no long term effects. Pray for his strength, and pray in Jesus name because in John 14, he says that he will do it. If you would like to keep updated about Stevi, please check www.caringbridge.org/al/stevihaynes and if you would like to send him a letter, card, etc... please get address from the website. As most of you are aware, Jerry is on his way to Lagos Nigeria to minister at the Holy Ghost Conference this week.
I would like to say a very warm thank you to all of those that have both partnered together financially and through prayer for this trip to happen. Everything worked out so quickly that it was nothing short of a miracle that dad was even able to go.
The last we heard he had arrived in Paris, and was on his way to Lagos. He should have arrived by now, and we should hear more soon.
As soon as I am able to get his speaking itinerary, I will post it here on our website so that you can tune in and watch live.
This year the revival is being broadcast live for the entire event, and the quality has been outstanding. The technology is quite a bit different than before .
Click here for the live video feed from Nigeria
Click Here to watch a replay of Wed. night's main message
I'm sorry about the prior link, it turns out that was a rebroadcast from an earlier service.
Also remember, they are only broadcasting when live. The services start at midnight pacific time and go untill about 4am pacific, then starts up again at 7am pacific untill about 4pm pacific.

"O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon His name: make known His deeds
among the people." Psalm 105:1
Has God touched your life in a special way through this web-site or in
the services? Prayer requests pour in,
day by day, and people take those needs to the Lord in prayer. It's
easy to stop at the first portion of that scripture.
Will you take a moment and write about your answers to prayer, so all of
us can join together in a great time of Thanksgiving?

Spiritual Warfare, or Coincidence? | We sincerely apologize for being offline for the past 2 days. I do believe that we have everything properly holding together at this point. This is the first time in many years that anointed.net was offline for more than a few hours. On Nov 2nd two separate events occurred that caused not only our web site, but my personal dsl line to go down. (photo is for example only) |
You could not imagine my disappointment to wake up on election day and not only be unable to get online myself, but to also know that our server was down as well. Leading up to the election our traffic was record breaking for us. In a one week span of time we moved over 1000GB of data, and had tens of thousands of people accessing either the web site or the Stolen Honor video itself. These type of data transmission rates are unheard of for all but the largest Christian web sites. It was so extreme that our data center believed we were under an actual attack and "throttled" us back. That "throttle" only stayed for a single day once they figured out the traffic was indeed ok. We came to a mutual resolution on how to solve the issue and moved the main content to a number of our other servers to balance the traffic load.
On the evening of November 1st we received over 31,000 emails in about a 12 hour span of time. People definitely had a lot to say about the web site and the video being shown. I am happy to say that 99% of the emails were actually quite uplifting and encouraging us to continue.
On November 2nd the site went completely offline. After serious troubleshooting of the problem the power supply was replaced twice but the problem was not resolved. The web site would come up but immediately power down and it was not un till today that the full extent of the problems were known. It turns out there was a MAJOR overheating problem going on system wide. Parts were literally MELTING.
As of this moment, parts have been pulled together to "piece" the server back together and the site is obviously online again. As to my dsl line, that is back up and running. Here is the really "funny" thing about that situation. After 3 days of waiting for a resolution to my problem, the Verizon technician finally came to my house to troubleshoot the problem. It turns out that someone had REMOVED my dsl switch at their main station and given it to someone else. When he arrived at the station today, he found the piece back in my slot, only it was in backwards. Once again is this warfare or coincidence? I'll let you decide that one, as I can see no reason to ever have my switch removed, nor could they explain it.
WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP ON THIS WEBSITE! Our server is holding at the moment, but we really do need to buy the proper equipment to keep it up and running in the future. As most of you know, we are all ready the largest prayer board on the Internet, and we continue to grow daily. The traffic and demand on the server is going to only increase as the Lord continues to bless this ministry. Building a "proper" server for this site is going to cost thousands of dollars, and we need your help. I am asking for those of you that can to partner together with us in order to purchase the needed equipment to keep this site running and to upgrade it for future growth. We currently personally spend over $5,000 a month in server fees and programming salaries to keep this site online for those in need. If you would like to consider helping with this ministry please Click here to make a donation. We have 2 options. One is where you can make a one time gift, and the other allows you to make automatic monthly gifts to help maintain this web site. Every donation will make a difference, and if you cannot afford to donate, PLEASE keep us and this web site in your prayers. Thank you and the Lord bless you all Shawn Gaffney | If you would like to enter a prayer for this website server click here.

 | We are pleased to announce that Vinesong will be ministering live in our Tacoma Revival services Tonight and Tomorrow night, on Apr 15-16th. |
Vinesong represents a team of modern-day missionaries, serving the churches across the denominations by using music as a vehicle for reaching people. Many of the most respected leaders in the Christian world have classified this ministry as being unique.
It is an equipping ministry and should not be stereotyped as a musical form of Christian entertainment but as providing a time of spiritual refreshment, challenge and change to people's lives.
Vinesong are based in England although John Watson the founder and leader of Vinesong was born and raised as a third-generation missionary in Zimbabwe (Central Africa). Other team members are from South Africa, Argentina and the USA.
Here are a few songs from their albums I Love You Lord How Majestic Are You Lord

This is Jerry I need your help today.
Today is 12 Nov. 2003. I only have 28 days before we leave. Is a soul worth $20.00 or $50.00 or $100.00. What is the value of the soul of your brother or sister. How about your son or daughter or mother or father. Join our team today and help us go to Africa. I will be placing every prayer on this board on the altar in Nigeria. 7,000,000 people will be praying for you at one time. Can you imagine what will happen when 7,000,000 lift up your prayer request to heaven. Again is a soul worth $20.00 to you. Please Click here
I got this email today and I wanted to share it with you.
"Dear Jerry,
I'm not sure about all this seeding lark or even doing stuff for some reward. I do what I do because I love Jesus.
The Lord told me how much to give you. To you it may not seem a great amount but to us its just about the right amount, [in terms of being able to afford food etc.]. I will go to the bank tommorrow and find out how to change the money into dollars and get it to you.
I continue to pray for your mission.
I continue to pray for a financial blessing for you. i know what its like. A few of us are trying to raise £6,600 to buy new school premises for a christian school in Pakistan. Its all a bit low key as I am sure you know that Pakistan is an Islamic country.
Bless you
P.s. those souls are worth far more than I could ever give!
Oh my friend
You said: "I'm not sure about all this seeding lark or even doing stuff for some reward."
I did not make this up.
I have learned to believe the bible as a child.
If it says something do what it says.
I have learned to take it at it's simpleist.
The Word Says:
LUK 6:30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask <them> not again.
LUK 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
2CO 9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty <COLOR=darkred>(offering)</COLOR> , whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as bounty, and not as <of> covetousness. 9:6 But this , He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, <so let him give>; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 9:8 And God <is> able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all <things>, may abound to every good work:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Please I hope you understand what I am going to say.
God wants us to build the Kingdom of God.
That is why he made you.
That is why you want to build a church.
There are so many hurting people in the world.
They seem to blame God for everything.
As you have already seen from some of the prayers on the board.
I have discovered God's economy.
Give and it shall be given.
That is the most profound thought in the whole world.
That is the most powerful weapon God could have given us.
If you need prayer then pray for others.
If you need forgiveness then give forgiveness
If you need love then give love
If you need peace then give peace
etc. .... etc..... etc....
PRO 22:8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity:
1CO 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, <is it> a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
GAL 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

1CO 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, <is it> a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
