Pastors Letters From: Kate Costa
Power Invasion Ministries
Denver, CO
To: Jerry Gaffney
Subject: Happy Birthday!!

Dear Brother Jerry,

Happy Birthday!!! You are appreciated!!!

This note has been a long time coming!! My husband and I are pastors at Power Invasion in Denver.

We enjoyed your ministry here in December immensely.... your teaching has spurred us to go deeper into God's word - -studying the Greek and Hebrew meanings and so forth.

We never "officially" thanked you for all of the generous gifts you gave to our congregation. You purchased a new hands-free mic, gave our pastor an extremely generous offering, and donated all of the necessary services to update our website!

Thank you!!!  Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!
Not to mention that you also took the time to minister to each congregant, no matter how late the hour. We couldn't help but notice how generous you were with the hotel and restaurant staff at the Red Lion Hotel.... your quiet Christ-like generosity was a powerful testimony!

Thank you for giving of yourself. You prophesied over my husband one night after he brought you a Sprite! You were already preaching, but you prayed and prophesied over him, imparting a double portion of what God has given you in your ministry. wow.

I was nine months pregnant and you prayed a blessing over me saying that, like Hannah, I would have five more children! (I haven't heard the end of that from the staff here, by the way! :)

Anyway, I wanted you to know on your birthday that you are appreciated and that you have made an impact on our lives. Your testimony has driven us to pray more, study more and to believe that God can bring every one of His promises to fruition.

Thank you again - - and have a BLESSED day!!!

Yours in Christ,
George & Kate Costa

Pastor Robert Rester article in news paper
Posted by: JG on Thursday, February 20, 2003 - 09:14 AM
Pastors Letters Dear Jerry Gaffney,
Just in case you have not seen the newspaper article that was printed in our local paper, I scanned it and here it is.
Sincerely,
Kitty Mathews, Secretary, Central Park Neighborhood Church, Aberdeen
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2003
Rev. Bob Rester FACES OF FAITH
Harborites are invited to 'come and see'.

Even the most casual observer would have noted the incredible change on the faces of the two adults at the front of the church. They were beaming from ear to ear and happy to declare that our great and mighty God had delivered them from slavery to alcohol.

They'd come because someone who'd been at the meetings in progress the past three weeks at Central Park Neighborhood Church, featuring evangelist Jerry Gaffney, invited them to "come and see."

Both were over 50 and had come from different avenues of life. Neither knew the other But when they came in last week, both had that look of one who's had a lifelong addiction to alcohol.

Their eyes were glazed over and disinterested. As they sat through the meeting, it appeared they were anxious to leave. But then something changed in,.............................

From Ann Graham, Billy's daughter
Posted by: JG on Tuesday, August 06, 2002 - 01:37 AM
Pastors Letters Subject: Are you thinking?
In light of the many perversions and jokes we send along to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This joke today is not intended to be a joke, it's not intended to be funny, it's intended to get you thinking. Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" ( regarding the attacks on Sept. 11 ). Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman

We Are Not The Borg!
Posted by: ifeelgod on Sunday, August 04, 2002 - 01:18 AM
Pastors Letters Here is an article submited by a Bishop James Brown.. I do not know him but the article is interesting.
Jerry

Bishop James ‘I Feel God’ Brown
Victory Church, Ft. Worth, TX

"We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile" for those not familiar with the arch enemy of Star Trek vessels across the galaxy, those words have little meaning. But for Trekies everywhere the words are known to give instant rise to an uneasy feeling which is almost impossible to ignore.

Jerry Gaffney
[Q:] What do you think God is looking for in His people today? [A:] God is looking for people that will embrace a bit higher of a calling so we can take back what the enemy has stolen. He is looking for some of us that will get our eyes on cities made by God and not the hands of men. I have been allowed the privilege to be one of the chaplains of the Senate here in Washington. In 1999, I was going to open the session in prayer for the second time and told the Lieutenant Governor that I wanted to give an altar call. He wasn't a Christian, so he didn't understand what I was talking about. He said that I had five minutes to invoke the presence of God, but that I wasn't to get offended if no one paid any attention to me. Usually people were talking on their cell phones during this time. I said that if I were a man of God, everyone would have their heads bowed and know that God came into the room. I prayed a prayer that morning and read a poem written by a little girl who was saved in one of our services. She asked, 'Where are the families we see on t.v. where no one gets drunk and everybody is happy? Where are the families we see on t.v. where people can play and have fun and not hate one another—where you don't lay in bed at night, afraid afraid of who is going to come in?' I said, 'Guys, we've got to do a better job of leading the kids.' When I finished, I told them that if God touched their heart and they wanted to talk about it or receive prayer, they could meet me off to the side—and the senators came running over with tears in their eyes. God is calling out those who are hungry, those who have an ear to hear the call to totally give themselves to the Lord. He is looking for people who don't want to play games. God wants everybody to be saved. He wants to empty jails. He wants to save all the prostitutes. He wants to build His kingdom

Pastors Letters On Monday evening Jerry prayed over the ministers who were present.
As he began to prophesize over me, it was as if he were reading my
mail. I was so overcome with the power of God that I began to shake,
quiver, my knees buckled and I began to weep from the depths of my
soul. I went out under the power of the Holy Spirit, lying on the
floor, crying, with tears and crying with my lips; Oh, God, Oh,
Jesus, Oh, Holy Spirit. This went on for quite a while and then I
attempted to get to my feet. I had to have help and I staggered all
over the meeting hall. I had to have assistance by Steve Hittle in
finding and getting to his car to go home. Steve, literally held me
up and led me to the car.

Pastor Larry Reed Power of Revival In the Services Today
Posted by: JG on Thursday, June 13, 2002 - 07:31 PM
Pastors Letters Pastor Larry Reed talking about what is going on in the meetings at his church these past few days. My 18 year old daughter suffered from asthma and allergies all of her life. She walked around the house for three months with toilet tissues in her nose. My daughter was a litte bit reticent about coming forward and some of the people in the church encouraged her to come forward. And when Brother Jerry prayed for her she went down under the power. I don't know how long she was down maybe 30 minutes or so. Then after a few days she noticed God had healed her of her asthma and her allergies. That was 7 years ago and she is still healed.

Pastor John Thuringer & Jerry Gaffney

Pastors Letters People have said:
"I never really understood how much Jesus loved me till now; all that suffering was just for me"MA.
"My life has been changed forever. After seeing what Jesus did for me I must tell someone how much He loves us"CA .

"I was at the point of suicide; it felt like I was living in hell, now I am in heaven. You must come and see what the Lord is doing here. If He can touch me he can touch you."DM
"All my life I felt ugly. I felt no one could ever love me. I got caught up in drugs, sex and suicide. I do not know how I came to the service but words cannot express my gratitude. For the first time in my life I know I am loved and beautiful. I will never go back to that pit of hell again" ka (My friends, this last quote was from a 17 year old teenager. Is not this what Jesus is all about?)

Pastor John Thuringer about what has happened so far
Posted by: Jerry Gaffney on Saturday, June 08, 2002 - 06:49 AM
Pastors Letters
The people poured into that church. There was no advertising, no news papers, no TV or Radio; just word of mouth and one letter we sent out to the people in the area. People and pastors poured in from a five-state area. We had Baptist pastors, Methodist pastors, Assembly of God pastors, First Christian Church pastors, Mennonite pastors, and pastors from many independent churches. The outpouring of unity among the churches in the area was almost historic. The hunger in the area for the Lord to touch his people has almost never been this great. We have seen people running to the altar asking the Lord to either touch them or their families, from all walks of life and almost all denominational backgrounds.

You were at least 5 feet from me when you said, "In the name of Jesus Christ, pain leave this body." In all my years of life I had never been without pain. I thought I had died because I had never been without pain. It was gone.

Pastors Letters Jerry, I want to express my gratitude for the investment you made in my life. I have been around many men of God since l began in ministry in 1984. Many of those who had a "traveling ministry" rarely acknowledged or invested themselves in the whole church staff. I find myself referring often to the formal and informal lessons you taught us. I have never been around a man of God who poured himself out like you did for us! For me personally, I grew more in ministering in the anointing during the six weeks with you than any other period in my life!

What is the fruit......What is the proof of this...

2: watched kids get filled with the power of God
3: watched Our church get transformed!
