My Bible Notes
Purpose Of The Anointing

This is just one of the many lessons we have in our
School of the anointing.

A. The First Purpose of the Anointing is to _________________ Unto God.

Exodus 28:1

1And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office,

God wanted Aaron to be brought from among the people to be consecrated unto as a high priest.

You cannot mix the world with a holy God.

That is why Aaron and his sons were and ____________ so they could minister unto God.

That is why we are challenged to _____________ from among the world.

Exodus 40:12

12And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. 13And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. 14And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: 15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 16Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

Aaron and his sons were purified for their duties by being washed.

Likewise, we must be

My Bible Notes Knowing the will of God

Are you confused some times? Are you worrying what to do? Is it hard to make decisions? Then you must know the will of God. This will help you understand His will.

           I.  Can we ask God to know His will?

A.            Moses asked the Lord.

1.            Exodus 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people.

B.  Jesus told us to ask the Father for His will to be done.

1.   MAT 6:10   {Thy kingdom come. Thy <will> be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.}

2.   Would Jesus ask is to do this if it was not possible.

C.  Jesus sought to do the will of His Father.

1.   JOHN 5:30   {I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own <will>, but the <will> of the Father which hath sent me.}

2.   John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

II.  Can we do the will of God?

Overcoming Worry
Posted by: JG on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 - 12:40 PM
My Bible Notes

Try this:

Pray about these verses when you feel like worrying.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34 NIV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4 KJV

Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you: He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Psalm 55:22 NASB

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Psalm 62:8 NIV

Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.
Matthew 9:24 KJV

Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.John 14:1 KJV

An anxious heart weighs a man down….
Proverbs 12:25 NIV

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid….
Isaiah 12:2 KJV

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is life not more important than food and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life.
Matthew 6:25-27 NIV

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1 KJV

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2 KJV

I hope this helps

Some verses on Forgiveness
Posted by: JG on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 - 12:07 PM
My Bible Notes I have been married for 37 years now.We have a ruled in our house.Once we say I forgive you:We can never bring up the subject again. We treat each other just as if they never did it.The Lord not only forgives but he forgets what we have done.

HEB 10:16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 10:17  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 10:18 Now where remission of these [is, there is] no more offering for sin. 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 10:21 And [having] an high priest over the house of God; 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;) 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

The Lord buries our sins in the deepest sea

MIC 7:18 Who [is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth [in] mercy. 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
